With few exceptions, the team is interested in doing the right things for the right reasons.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having a positive impact and leaving work at the end of the day knowing that I helped make things better and got something worthwhile accomplished.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Open to ideas and feedback on their performance and the decisions made. Aware and considerate of the concerns of the work force as a whole, and individually.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We celebrate success as participants of a team. We don't dwell on setbacks or errors, we learn from them and move on. There is much to do, and little time to waste.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It is a complete compensation package. I am sure that other companies may offer better benefits in particular aspects, but the security of my job along with the scope of benefits provided by Nucor allow me to rest assured knowing that me and my family are protected.
