Although I wish Nucor was more remote friendly and better at establishing paths for advancement, It's a great place to work that genuinely backs up their culture.

It's been a great opportunity to learn and grow and has made things possible I couldn't have even dreamed of before I worked here.

Everyone is very supportive of each other.

They do seem to genuinely care about us.

Being able to collaborate with co-workers to solve a problem.

I wish our salary was a little higher but the bonuses are nice.

Working as a team to be market leaders and knowing our company is going to pass that success along to us.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have a hybrid schedule and our manager is very flexible when we have appointments and things to take care of during business hours.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
When I look at comps for similar positions there are other companies paying $10-$20k more. Additionally, Nucor is hiring people in at much hire rates than what I'm making and paying recruiter fees for them.
