The leadership team is losing sight of what makes Nucor great...the people. The merit of loyalty, experience, and service is quickly diminishing.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Cannot do this topic justice in 300 words. Nucor is more concerned with growing than supporting our foundation. Our people and making steel.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Nucor teammates used to be paid far above the regional median salary. We are falling below that pay scale. It is very clear in the talent that we attract. Thousands of people used to apply for our job pool. Now we are lucky to get 100. A 15% pay increase would be consumed by inflation at this point.
