Transparent. From the first interview until today, the people I have surrounded myself with embody the Nucor culture. I been a part of higher up conversations and conversations as a trainee and it has been nothing short of the truth. It's not always the best day ever, but every day I can grow.
What makes you most happy at work?
I get to compete every single day and hopefully make a positive impact on the yard/ company in general.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Relocation packages were fantastic both times. Received a ton of help from leadership on that. I love watching my 401k grow month over month as well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Open Communication, Transparency, Belief in me, Trust in me, Allows me to think through things and have my own opinion rather than tell me what to do.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The help and care for all teammates. Whether it be an exec or a teammate who was just hired out in the yard, everyone is treated with respect.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Willingness to help. I have not met a single person in this company (especially SWFL) that has not been there to help. I am so happy I earned a spot on this team.
