Marking its tenth anniversary, the John Brademas Center at New York University seeks to advance understanding of the policy issues and programs that engaged and energized John Brademas during his decades in public service. The Center named for him is dedicated to the most constant of his concerns: education; politics and policymaking in the United States; global engagement; the arts and humanities and cultural diplomacy. Serving as a permanent forum for reasoned and civil discourse, the Center works to ensure that opinions and ideas on these issues are expressed, debated, and formulated for action.
The vision of the Physical Therapy Program is to: ) maintain the department's long tradition of leadership and excellence in physical therapy education; 2) create innovative educational programs; 3) promote the provision of ethical, efficient, and cost effective physical therapy services; and 4) serve the physical therapy needs of the national and international communities.
