Weve been in the process of making some changes to our website which will allow us to provide a better experience, and there may be some slight hiccups. We always reach out to potential winners to confirm their legal name before running a background check. Our team contacts potential winners via email and/or phone and then when we are able, we will follow up with a Skype call as well! Please note that contact will come directly from a member of our team and not from [email protected].

Winners are typically announced around 10-14 business days after the experience has closed, although the exact duration of the winner confirmation process will vary with each experience. Once the winner confirmation process has been completed, we will send out an email to all the entrants of the experience with the details of the winner! If you win an Omaze experience, a dedicated team makes sure your experience is unforgettable. We manage the travel and accommodations as well as coordinate with the talent partner (when applicable) so you can just focus on having the time of your life!

The maximum number of entries of any kind allowed per person per experience is 1,000,000. Additionally, please know that, regardless of entry method, whether it is via donation or using our free Alternative Method of Entry, youll need to wait 60 seconds between entry submissions. If you submit more than one entry within a 60 second time frame, only one submission will be recorded.

Within 10 business days of campaign close, well use an automated random drawing process to draw a potential winner(s) for that campaign. A confirmation process, which may include a background check, will then take place to ensure the potential winner meets the legal standards required. Winner and, if applicable, their guest(s) agree to cooperate fully with Omaze in Omaze conducting any background check(s), which includes providing information requested by Omaze including, but not limited to, full legal names and addresses. If the Prize includes meeting a celebrity, meeting a public figure, or attending a special event and any background check indicates, in Omazes sole discretion, that the potential winner or the potential winners guest(s) pose a danger to or may harm the reputation of any person or entity involved in the sweepstakes, Omaze may disqualify said winner and move on to the next randomly drawn potential winner. Pending a positive outcome of the confirmation process, an Omaze representative will notify the potential winner via email and/or phone. The potential winner must respond within the time period designated in the notification, or Omaze may move on to another randomly drawn potential winner. Before confirming a potential winner as the winner, Omaze may require the potential winner to confirm their eligibility. Once thats done, the potential winner and guest(s) must execute and return all required documents within the time frame specified by Omaze. If you do not execute and return all required documents within the time frame specified by Omaze, you will forfeit the Prize and Omaze will move on to another randomly drawn potential winner.

Travel companions are also required to sign a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of tickets. Additionally, travel companions/guests of the winner may be subject to a background check, which may impact their ability to participate in the prize.

For many of our experiences, the winner will be responsible for any applicable taxes. Well issue the winner a W-9 form so that they are able to report their prize winnings to the government. All winners that receive a Prize with an approximate retail value of $600 or more will be issued a Form 1099.

However, for some of our vehicle experiences, sales tax is prepaid and up to 25% of the ARV, or Approximate Retail Value, will be paid by Omaze to the winner in lieu of income taxes. You will see the ARV listed for each individual vehicle experience on the experience page under the section entitled, "stuff our lawyers want you to read". Please note that rules will vary for each experience, so it is always important to read the rules for each individual experience you wish to enter.

It's important to note that eligibility varies by experience. Details for each individual experience can be found at the bottom of the experience page under the section entitled, "stuff our lawyers want you to read".

For many experiences, Omaze will purchase the vehicle once a winner has been randomly drawn and confirmed. Well purchase the vehicle at a dealership located closest to the winners residence, which allows us to ensure that the car meets the steering requirements for the winners country of residence. Please note that prizes may be subject to availability restrictions in certain jurisdictions based on licensing, import, or other distribution restrictions. In those situations, the winner will receive the cash alternative prize instead.

For experiences where Omaze purchases the vehicle prior to a winner being drawn and confirmed, the winner will receive the vehicle as is with no additional modifications provided by Omaze.

Each experience has a set deadline, which you will see listed on the experience page un the section entitled, stuff our lawyers want you to read. Within 10-14 business days of an experience closing, well conduct a random drawing. Our team will then complete the winner confirmation process as described in our Official Rules under the section entitled How Do I Know if I Won?

Once the winner confirmation process has been completed, we will send out an email to all entrants of the experience with the name of the winner! The winners name will also be posted on our Twitter feed and on our site here: https://winners.omaze.com/who-won

Donations made through our site go directly to Charities Aid Foundation America (CAFA), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. CAF America has partnered with Omaze to make giving internationally and domestically safe, easy and effective for U.S. donors by raising charitable donations from members of the public to fund monetary grants to other charitable organizations. In accordance with the terms of the sweepstakes you entered, so long as the charity/charities specified in the sweepstakes remain eligible to receive grants when the sweepstakes ends, CAFA will provide the net proceeds from the sweepstakes to the specified charity as a charitable grant.

There are two ways to enter each of our sweepstakes experiences. The first is by making a donation to support the affiliated cause, and as a gift youll receive entries into the sweepstakes. The second is through what we call the free Alternative Method of Entry, or AME, which is free of charge. Both entry methods can be found on the experience page.

Our donor rewards ship out about 416 weeks after the campaign you donated to closes.

We know thats a long time to wait, but its for a good reason: we make everything at the end of a campaign, so its all produced at the same time. This leads to less cost and more money going to our charity partners. We so appreciate your patience as we work to make sure your contribution has the biggest possible impact!

Digital Thank You Cards and Videos will be sent to the email address you provided when you donated. Like all rewards, please expect these to be delivered within 416 weeks.

Please note that we have to coordinate with our celebrity partners to secure signed merchandise while respecting their busy schedules, so thanks for hanging in there if these rewards take a bit longer to be delivered!

Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We always recommend speaking with an account or tax professional regarding tax-deductibility of your donation.

As you may know, the IRS only requires donors to obtain a written acknowledgment from a charity for any single contribution of $250 or more. As such, the confirmation email we sent you should be sufficient as documentation of donations of less than $250 USD. If you require a formal donation tax receipt or if there is anything else we can do to be of assistance, please contact our CX team at [email protected].
