My coworkers are great. Leadership can use some managerial training. Our clients either love us or hate us (mostly love us). Client-facing Support carries our reputation though that department is under-valued and over-worked.

We support one another. We have a beautiful campus.

HR was very clear in their expectations and the steps of the process.
What makes you most happy at work?
Supporting my fellow workers, making sure that they have the space to de-stress or accomplish tasks.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to their employees. Leadership is great at being supportive when things are going well or when everyone agrees--not so much when employees are stretched thin or have valid feedback about how to improve our processes.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My position is seen as a stepping stone to land a position in another department. We have the opportunity for upward mobility, but I would love to be valued and compensated fairly in my current position. While wages are "competitive" in the tech market, they're not livable or sustainable locally.
