I wish we could get passed the structed one on ones. Feels very fake here. I don't like the culture you push on us.
Treat us like adults, not children. Less coaching and babying
Oh my goodness, what don't they need to get better at? This place has a very toxic culture and hardly and work/life balance. You're expected to be "family" and your supervisor is more like a camp counselor, than a leader. You guys have A LOT of work to do.
It's growing! Non-stop! And it's balanced
Review from Engineering Dept
We are expected to do so much in our role for so little. We are also expected to be part of a forced culture. My manager shouldn't be prying about my personal life. Management shouldn't celebrate when someone makes us cry, calling it vulnerability. It's not right.
You are never good enough. Can never have a perfect call or email.
I feel undervalued because they treat us like children. I have to 'share' personal stories with my lead so we can be more like family, but that just makes me super uncomfortable. Our one on ones are very awkward and uncomfortable. Treat us like the adults we are!
Pretty much everyone I work with is an amazing personality and a strong pro.

Co-workers themselves need to grow up. This isn't a high school it's a place of work. It's a very immature environment.
Some people feed into the toxicity. Very immature and young employee base, which is perfect since management likes to treat folks like children. I have seen people not do their job and attribute it to something 'personal' and they just get a slap on the wrist, but the behavior continues with no fix
I don't feel the culture or environment are good. It's toxic in my opinion and very forced. Forced relationships and friendships. Forced socialization, often leading to toxic relationships forming.
Fail-friendly culture enables to experiment a lot and gives freedom and inspiration. A lot of tools to play with. Tech stack is huge and it's easy to grow and get hands on experience

There is nothing positive about the culture
The overall energy and blameless culture.

What else can I really say? Change your one on one/"coaching" structure. You're not camp counselors and we are not children. Have a more work-focused approach and stop trying to be so personal, and so family like. This is a job, not a family.

More formal less informal. Pretty much everything I said before. They need to grow up
Not their fault that everything is virtual right now, I give them that.

Better management, better one on ones, a better culture.
Like I said the place could do better and treat us better.
I don't feel comfortable with the fact that this place is more like a highschool or a summer camp, than a place of business. We do our jobs right, but it's not good enough because we didn't get personal or treat the customers like family. Can never get a 100 QA score even if you do your job fine.
