I feel like I'm doing something worthwhile.
Everyone I've worked with has been very supportive, communicative, and has had an overall positive demeanor.
Compensation is very fair and I get lots of PTO. I believe ORTEC truly understands the meaning of a healthy work/life balance.
Everyone seems like they're having a good time. Of course, like with most places and life in general, there are hard days. But the positivity most of the people at ORTEC exude makes those days so much more bearable. It really does feel like we're in it together.
Leadership at ORTEC is great. It doesn't feel like a hierarchy, either. No job is too small or too large for our management teams and they are always happy to be involved. They also don't micromanage, which is very refreshing especially coming from someone who has had to deal with micromanagers.
There were 3 stages to my interview - initial introduction and pitch, a writing exercise, and a presentation of my work and what I could add to ORTEC. My interviewers seemed very prepared and were friendly yet honest. After a long job search, it was the first interview I was excited about.
