Arnaud P. Genis — President of Composites at Owens Corning

Mr. Arnaud P. Genis has been President of Composites at Owens Corning since April 2016. Mr. Genis served as the Group President of Composite Solutions at Owens Corning since December 15, 2010 and also served as its Vice President since 2007. Mr. Genis was given responsibility for the Owens's Non-Woven Technologies and Building Materials businesses in Europe in June 2010. Mr. Genis served as Vice President and Managing Director of Owens Corning's reinforcements business in Europe and its global technical fabrics business immediately after the acquisition of Saint-Gobain's reinforcements business in November 2007. Prior to the acquisition, he served as the President of the Saint-Gobain Global Reinforcements & Textile Solutions Business and also President of Saint-Gobain Textile Solutions Business, Paris since 2005. Mr. Genis has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of global composites roles. In 2006, Mr. Genis led the Saint-Gobain team through Owens Corning's acquisition of its reinforcements business and played a major role in the strategy and structure of the new composites businesses. Before joining Owens Corning in 2007, he worked 21 years at Saint-Gobain in various international assignments in sales, marketing, strategic planning and general management in Japan, Spain, Italy, Belgium and France. Mr. Genis graduated from the Business School of Paris, Ecole Sup???rieure de commerce de Paris and spent one year at Kobe University in Japan during his studies. He is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Italian and is conversant in German, Japanese and Portuguese.
