It was fairly quick and painless

Ability to meet with peers and emploi

It was fairly fast for the first one, second one was rough because I had to wait for a position to be opened and offered while being promised it would be there

The casual and comfortable atmosphere.

The recruiter was incredible and kept the ball rolling in a timely manner and gave frequent updates.

It made it look like a professional organization. The training had that feel too. It's after that point where the nightmare stats.

I didn't have one really I came highly referred

At that time i had the best supervisor. She was kind and understanding

The person who interviewed and hired me was part of a good group

It was a quick process and the decision was made to extend the offer just as quick. I was very impressed.

Very different depending on the role you're interviewing for.

It went quickly and I was kept informed of where things were regarding the decision making process.

straight forward process for internviews

It was a rigorous interview process but the communication was excellent and effective.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

The interviews themselves vary from manager to manager - skills for interviewing are not always at a level necessary to identify the right employees. It can be very hard to get into leadership without leadership experience, causing employees to leave Paychex to get this experience.

For internal interviews don't let the interviewer try to put imaginary interpersonal issues on the interviewee.

you don't always get to interview with the hiring manager but then they decide based off other peoples statements. It's also a completely different process depending on the hiring manager for the same position. Even though we have standards they aren't consistent across the entire company only part

tell your managers it's not okay to try to make interviews personal or bring up personal issue during the interview

Review from Operations Dept

Managers need to be more honest about the work and company
