they are mostly very supportive, patient, and intelligent people who i learn a lot from

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

i learn new skills often and personal/professional development are clearly important to management, yet promotions and growth are still extremely slow, largely due to the oligopoly of the book industry

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We had a miserable year as people but one of the best years ever for the business (largely because employees absorbed many costs of the business in quarantine) and instead of investing in human capital they bought the competition.
