Upper management are involved, it's understood that a good idea can come from anywhere, it's understood that none of us is as smart as all of collectively.

That their normal. Sensitive. Diverse. The complete opposite of upper management.
The top bosses are the best are treating you like trash. The company needs to ask it's self why are long time employees leaving us with out notice. Why is that.
Work well together and support one another.
The only positive thing I can think of is some of the friendships you can build. At times you will feel sorry and check in on your friends because they just got yelled at. It's really sad and humiliating.

At least start caring and be more aware of the bottom line. Stop compung people because they tip you or they are nice, or you think they are dropping a lot of money and have you charmed. Try to remember this is a business.
