The people here care for the community, and the company pushes forward for community based fundraisers, giving back, programs, ect. Keyholders are very polite and know their departments well.
Lower management works hard, property is ok. Overall company isn't nearly as good as prior ownership.

Leadership is always there to help and guide. Leadership wants you to move up the ladder and be promoted and helps you get there if you want it and work hard.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
401k employer match is the best thing about the company. also tuition reimbursement.
I'm a true believer that I'm responsible for the level of compensation I receive by the value i provide to PENN NATIONAL.

Nothing amazing but they have the full package 401k match insurance and pto... none are amazingly good but i wouldnt want to lose any of them

Upper management are involved, it's understood that a good idea can come from anywhere, it's understood that none of us is as smart as all of collectively.

That their normal. Sensitive. Diverse. The complete opposite of upper management.

The top bosses are the best are treating you like trash. The company needs to ask it's self why are long time employees leaving us with out notice. Why is that.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Openness with department leaders and transparency with Human Resource.

The company used to give yearly evaluations and a pay increase of 1-5%. These were always given months late and a lot of favoritism played into it. Now you you are given a flat 2.5% yearly increase due to covid and the greed of the corporation. The yearly increase is also given months late.

We are like a big family which is nice but just like all families theres good and bad.
There is no back up from upper management. They are more concerned with leaving for the day.

It was nice. But they lied about what i would be doing. They do that to almost every new hire, and then wonder why they cannot keep staff. Lol
