He served as Vice President of Business Transactions at Pfizer Inc. He served as Vice President of Worldwide Business Development of Pfizer from April 2007 to June 2010 and Vice President of US Planning and Business Development of Pfizer from July 2005 to March 2007. For over two years, he led teams responsible for all Pfizer acquisitions and product licensing transactions including Pfizer's acquisitions of Coley, CovX. Encysive and Serenex and product collaborations announced with Adolor, Avant and Medivation. Before joining Pfizer's Worldwide Business Development group in 2007, he was of member of Pfizer's US leadership team responsible for US strategy and business development. Mr. Giordano serves as Director at ViiV Healthcare Limited. He has been a Director of ICU Medical, Inc. since February 3, 2017. He has been a Director of Medivation, Inc. since September 28, 2016. He has been a Director of Icagen, Inc. since October 27, 2011 and Anacor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since June 24, 2016. He served as a Director of Zoetis Inc. from July 2012 to June 2013.
