Raises based on favoritism are not a good way to do business
Individual contributors care about each other. Any level above that is out for themselves.
Be honest and don't promote based on whether or not individual is part of the "in crowd".
CEO and his team exploited the loyal and good hearted employees to hoard a few extra bucks. Shameful Capitalists
The only positive was the severance they offered when they used you up and finally laid you off but they are now defaulting on those packages. Shameful.
