I joined the business as a graduate and have taken on many different roles in my 10 years with Phaidon - each of them has been challenging and provided a platform for me to learn and grow as an individual. I am always excited about the next challenge I'll be presented with.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing Junior staff who have worked hard become successful - resilience is a core requirement in our business and watching people get their first wins constantly motivates me to keep training and inspiring the people around me.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Transparent and linked to tangible outcomes that are agreed at the beginning of the year. There is also clear direction and support on how to hit these goals to ensure that I hit my full bonus and promotion targets.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparent and meritocratic. The leadership team are always there to support me and the team in times of need, which over the last few years in HK has been frequently. Constantly thinking of new ways to motivate and inspire everyone in the business.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We operate like a family and share the burden of success of the business together - we win together and lose together. This environment creates a highly collaborative team structure where we can challenge and question methods or ideas to ensure we are always moving forward.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are a success driven business which is demonstrated by the growth and results of the past 10 years. We have a strong culture of developing people at all stages of their career and will provide support to everyone to give them every chance to be successful at Phaidon.
