Work-life balance: terrible Pay: terrible considering the work-life balance. Would be okay if work hours aren't greater than 40 hours/week. Company culture: politically correct nonsense. Relationship w/co-workers: fantastic.

Stop the woke political correctness with the policies.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My boss and my boss's boss are awesome. There is no political correctness in the workplace. You can have super comfortable conversations at work, which is awesome.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Work-life balance is horrifying. I literally have zero (yes, literally) free time on weekdays, and I usually get <7 hours of sleep on weeknights. My only chance to physically recovery is on weekends.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The fact that the company culture is not hyper-authoritarian, like how the dress code is very casual at work. Not a fan of the overall company's (Phaidon's) politics though. It's all woke political correctness, like how it promotes the unequal pay narrative.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For >40 hours of work per week, the base salary of $45,000/year is quite low. Almost all other recruitment firms that I have applied to offer higher annual salaries for no greater than 40 work hours per week. And the commission structure is no different. Why would I choose Phaidon over other firms?
