Sales and service has gotten way better lately. In our store, management is difficult.
What's the company culture like at Pizza Hut?
We are encouraged not to talk, so it's very depressing. Everyone is in fear of getting on store managers radar, the staff by themselves is amazing. Usually diversified.
It isnt that great. Our boss don't care aboutus. She leaves in the middle of rushes. We are constantly understaffed and current our hood is broken and we are breathing carbon monoxide. My yes hurt and I have headache Everytime I work
What are the issues facing by Pizza Hut in human resources?
Franchise restaurants are expecting more work for less money. New upper management team has zero to no experience. They have absolutely no respect and will blatantly lie to employees to get the results they want. When they aren't too busy gossiping about others, they are hiring people making promises of promotions and pay raises, only for the employees to find later that the pay they are receiving can not support current cost of living standards.
What is the best advice you could give someone during their first month at Pizza Hut?
Learn as much as, or more, than you are allowed to train for. Try to develop the skills they need without the training that's given to you
