I truly cannot say enough good things about working at Pluralsight. Before I started here, work was always a big source of stress. I spent a lot of personal time and energy worrying about it, even when I was off. Not anymore. Now I am excited and charged up by my job every day.

  • It's a tie between the generous equity program (every employee gets RSUs and can contribute towards SSP to the *federal maximum* -- no one does that!) and the health insurance benefit (PS pays for 100% of your premiums-- you pay nothing monthly for your health care!) ----- really can't pick a winner between both of those.

  • vision insurance is great at Pluralsight - it's your standard every [x] months you get $[y] dollars to spend, but it doesn't cost you anything. definitely above average!

  • The specific dental benefit is GREAT because there's no premium (PS pays 100% of it, and for health insurance as well) but the actual provider is the opposite of great. There was a recent change in dental insurance providers, and the new provider is very poor. On the front of it, the benefit looks pretty good, but they do things like disqualify composite fillings, saying they're unnecessary and only paying for amalgam/silver fillings. So, to the contract makers make it appear as if their dental plan is great, so Pluralsight signed with them, but then they get really stingy and sneaky with providing the actual benefit. To whit: Extraordinary benefit from PS, mediocre benefit from the provider.

  • This really depends on the leader and team member relationship in my experience! I know that I'm able to work from home whenever I want, with proper notice to my team members, because my leader knows that she can count on me to get my work done. The flexibility and autonomy that I have in my role is so important in terms of work life balance, because sometimes you need to just crank on work from your couch.
