How they are always there to help you with anything! I have learned and grown so much from the leadership team. I started on the phones and have grown into a leader! I have never had leadership like I have here!

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Estimating jobs.. Letting the higher ups know that trying to send pictures from your phone doesn't always work or takes a very long time.
There needs to be better communication between managers and employees, managers need to be available when employees need them, it seems that they are never there. There is favoritism going on as well where people cheat the company, people are always avoiding there duties.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Stock program everyone can get stock.
Paid Time Off is pretty nice, allows a work life balance

The hourly rate is fair.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better benefits and matching 401k,
Health and housing benefits that other companies provide. If I get sick I lose the day and have to pay for a private doctor.
Porch's Mexico team needs to get paid on time we make porch what it is and always get paid late, always we never get paid every 1st and 15th like a regular company always get paid a week later or even two weeks out from the mentioned date.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Experience and dedication make our team experience enjoyable.
My team has a great sense of TogetherWeWin! Anytime anyone needs anything they are all always quick to jump in to help! Also everyone is so close, even though we are in different parts of the world. We enjoy each other and everyone is there everyday cheering each other on!!

We done meet in person a lot, but there is great team spirit in HR.
People step up and work to solve each problem.
We have a common goal and we play on each other's strengths. Everyone is willing to pitch in when needed and they exemplify the values of Porch.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Culture is often put on a pedestal without foundation stabilizers like employee retention and compensation.
The new people recruited have great values
That it is open and everyone is able to be an individual and share ideas! We celebrate mistakes and take the lessons and learn from them! We strive to make the most of every day!

The All Hands meetings are super fun - they give lots of team shout outs.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Managers and team leads need to be monitored just like employees. Managers feel like they run the show, there should be a QA team for managers and team leads.

focus on quality and improving segments of the company that are struggling instead of attempting new untested products.
Alot they are so focused on being profitable that could care less about the People
