Open with what's going on with the company, funding and direction. The info can be delayed, but I feel like it's available. In general, the exec team is available and happy to answer questions - even tough ones.

Estimating jobs.. Letting the higher ups know that trying to send pictures from your phone doesn't always work or takes a very long time.
There needs to be better communication between managers and employees, managers need to be available when employees need them, it seems that they are never there. There is favoritism going on as well where people cheat the company, people are always avoiding there duties.
