First day, preceptor said "do the best you can as Im buried today with 6 patients." The RN's/LPN's/Nurse Aids struggle to keep afloat because each and everyday of the week (no exaggeration) a colleague will either call in sick or just not show up. Patients suffer due to poor / untimely care.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Im not sure there is a positive....perhaps the emails were timely.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understand the danger posed to patients due to understaffing and/or burned out staff with negative attitudes.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
People with positive attitudes, people who know how to smile and be friendly to colleagues, computer documentation as opposed to 1945 paper documentation.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My God...no one smiles at this place. No one looks happy. Everyone looks burned out. Perhaps this is the reason that half the RN's are agency.
