Out of the senior leadership team there is maybe 3 people who actually care about employee well being and culture. I have seen certain departments give themselves rewards via their executive leader in order to get pay raises at the senior leadership level.
My direct leadership is incredible. My indirect leadership should understand that driving their Audi to the mountain everyday is a slap in the face to the people keeping their mountain running on a day to day basis.
Hire empathetic leaders and quit getting rid of the people who truly care for the customers.

Promoting from inside their team, listening to the people who actually put the time and effort into an outlet, care about their employees well being more than the bottom line.
