For the most part, leadership does an excellent job disarming themselves, in the sense of making themselves approachable regardless of the matter.

The workplace culture feels toxic and unsupportive. Training is poor, and employees are often left unprepared. Leadership avoids addressing customer concerns, leaving front-line staff to handle hostility and unresolved issues without proper support.

Paying better for the amount of work expected. Treating people like humans instead of robots. Taking care of the actual problem workers and not treating the rest as expendable. See moee than the numbers for the shareholders.

Communication of company policy changes, makes no sense why bosses & employees surprised by changes, need to hold bad employees accountable cannot be stressed enough!

Taking care of employees. Benefits are terrible. Office culture is the worst I've ever experienced. If you're going to force a return to office, make the office a place people want to come. Why are we having to pay for snacks and drinks in vending machines?
Review from Finance Dept
Better benefits (i.e., PTO, paid holidays, flexible work arrangements - especially since they are inconveniencing people by moving both offices)

Pay Better and Not Push Employees so hard

Value your employees more Managers are receiving way to much pay in relationship to Property Managers- property managers are doing MPV and doing physical labor and multiple job descriptions. Abandon goods bringing abandoned items to dumpsters items weighing over 20-50 pounds. Maintenance, IT, Clean

be professional and play fair with everyone across the board. Invest time on coaching rather than gossiping and focusing on flaws rather than opportunities and nurture skills
Review from Operations Dept
be more empathetic. lately management has been very corporate head and not being empathetic of their employees persoanl life such as family , doctor visits , etc
Review from Sales Dept
Stop ignoring employees behaviors. Those who dont work or call out sick should be penalised. Employees that work 2-3 stores MVP shift and do all the job that lazy employees dont should be rewarded financially differently. Public Storages its burning good employees to sponsor laziness and bad behavio

better pay, fair and impartial treatment of all employees, give raises to your onsite employees, give us more power to run our stores as managers and not just "yes men".

Communication, hiring the right candidates for the right property, accountability, paying us what we're worth and holding everyone to the same standard and stop making excuses!
Review from Customer Support Dept
Stop using employees as captains. Captainships are placed on employees making them do more while other employees make the same and get more time for their properties. My DM rakes in my hard work and praise, I don't even get a thank you. The pay gap between PMs and DM is terrible
Review from Operations Dept
Less focus on reducing headcount to the lowest possible

We promote individuals based entirely on who they know not how they perform. Taking advice or coaching from someone who had the worst metrics in the region is a tough pill to swallow. Taking coaching from someone who doesn't care about their employees as a divisional president is difficult as well.
Review from Operations Dept
Listening to their employees. When we give them feedback or level up concerns many times it stops with them and nothing changes or gets better, this is why there has been an extremely high amount of turnover in our region & why there will continue to be more.
Review from Operations Dept
Being more customer and employee centric.
