What makes you most happy at work?
Having a work place that trusts what I am doing every day. It is very nice to have round ups and to go over projects but for the most part they just trust me and let me try new things.
The people I work with, and the ability to think big (with the resources to go after these ideas)

The support from my leadership team. I haven't worked for a company before the believes in me and praises me quite like RealSelf has. It's a phenomenal feeling.

I am most happy to get to work with such an amazing group of passionate people. I love the diversity we have the company; while we're not perfecting and leadership is committed to improving, it's one of the most diverse tech companies I've ever worked at. Ever.

I am blessed to have the best team!
Accomplishing the tasks that I'm assigned, aiming to exceed expectations. That I get to bring my dog to work everyday.
A few things that make me most happy to work at RealSelf are the avocados and hummus.
I love the work I do first and foremost. But another big part is that I get to bring my dog in with me. This may not seem like a big deal but it gives me a freedom in my life I haven't had before. I can now work the hours I want and live where I want knowing I don't have to quickly get home to him.
I think the culture. It's the main reason I came to RealSelf. That encompasses a lot. People, perks, work-life balance, customer centric, team oriented, etc.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Discovery is poor, better investment in tech
Shake up the executive team and invest in leaders that know how to empower and aid in staff growth. Look at the general decline in Glassdoor ratings and instead of going on the defensive, learn from it and fix what's happening to the company. Learn to appreciate staff and listen to their feedback.
