What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is very casual for the most part and outside of our department there are many fun channels and groups to join on Slack.
Empathetic, encouraging, kind, trying to be diverse
The company is very open with the employees on the state of the business, new things we are trying and how they are performing, and what we need to be successful. Nothing feels like it is being hidden.
Inclusion and transparency. Team focuses on the outcomes, not the individuals.
The company went full remote during covid and has been working hard to keep the team connected through monthly events. People here are hard working and care.
Everyone is willing to help and always eager to meet you, regardless of your position! Everyone wants to engage and assist in tasks and also ensure you feel welcomed (even remotely, which is awesome!)
People care about we are doing: we are a mission-based company. Even being fully remote, I feel connected with people throughout the company. We have virtual coffee breaks, book clubs and even game nights together.
Work-life balance isn't just a catchphrase, continuous learning and collaboration are always encouraged, and communication is authentic and thoughtful.

The relaxed atmosphere doesn't make coming to work a drag.
We have a culture of praise and recognition. Literally everyone in the company can see if I receive or give praise to someone. We celebrate big and small wins all the time. Managers are also very encouraging and supportive.
Everyone is always so kind and happy. It's incredible the retention here, not only with customers, but with employees. They are very selective in hiring, so that helps with on-boarding and development.
The work/life balance here is exceptional. You can tell the company really cares about each and every person and their well-being and you can tell that it is genuine. We have a great CEO who understands that we are all real people and everybody here is nice and genuine.
Love all the events, snacks, etc. Plus, large and airy open spaces for lounging
The work space makes the environment feel collaborative. The "gathering area" allows teams to meet and collaborate, energizing the space.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The company culture has changed a lot over the last 12 months. This is often put down to "staff not being able to change with the new direction." However, this is generally a cop out by the exec team. There are plenty of companies who have fast growth and are successful at retaining great culture.
