Relatively efficient and open/honest communication from recruiters (for my personal experience with interviewing); however I know of several people who have had very poor experiences due to lack of communication from recruiters.
Pay is not competitive, is very low compared to local industry average, but also low compared to national industry amounts; no cost of living adjustment considerations for remote employees. Raises are hard to come by.
The promoted culture is based on good work ethics and principles - so if team members are actually invested in the essence of the culture, things could be great. But when profit becomes the driver, culture becomes more of just a window tint to keep things looking good from the outside.
