I think public accounting really needs to look at the change in structure from largely compliance to largely consulting type work, and adjust staffing models and training programs. A large focus is still on the compliance work but the drive and direction of the firm is on the consulting type work.
I little competitive or higher compensation or offset by greater and more benefits as competition offers.

We need to be better at having each others back looking out for the good of the firm and our clients more than ourselves. Humility and gratitude would go a long way to improve growth culture.
Develop a team approach to serving clients, remove internal competition and the internal slicing of projects and the unfair, ineffective sharing of resources and revenue.
