Not worry so much on contests, and who can look better. Worry more about selling groceries and what the CUSTOMER WANTS, not what they want.

focus on making your employee's happy. Happy employees, will do so much more than unappreciated ones, which also = happy customers.
Integrity! Not shorting a dept hours so they look good on paper to get their bonus!
