Mr. Ramiro Louis Caceres, also known as Lou, serves as an Executive Vice President of Wealth Management, Insurance and Mortgage at Sandy Spring Bancorp Inc. Mr. Caceres has been an Executive Vice President of Wealth Management, Insurance, Mortgage of Sandy Spring Bank, Inc., a subsidiary of Sandy Spring BanCorp. Inc. since 2002. He serves as an Executive Vice President of Personal Banking & Investment Management at Sandy Spring BanCorp. Inc. He served as Senior Vice President of the Sandy Spring Bank. He served as Vice President of First Union Corporation. He has over 25 years of sales management experience in retail banking and investment services. He joined Sandy Spring in 1999 to develop a retail sales culture. He oversees its Retail Sales, Investment Services, Investment Management and Fiduciary Services and Mortgage divisions, in addition to the subsidiary companies: West Financial Services and Chesapeake Insurance Group. He is a board member of the regional chapter of the ALS Association as well as St. John's Episcopal school in Olney, Maryland. He is also Chairman of the Board for the Mid Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Caceres holds a BA in Economics and an MA from American University.
