Executive Bio

Mr. Claus Andresen has been Managing Director of Southeast Asia and President of Southeast Asia at SAP SE since August 2017. Mr. Andresen is responsible for driving SAP Southeast Asia's sustainable growth strategy and operations. He oversees SAP's business across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Indochina and other emerging markets in Southeast Asia. He has a wealth of experience in managing large scale and multi complex business transformations and IT programs for SAP customers in the Hi Tech and Retail industry all with the focus on business optimization. Prior to joining SAP, he worked as a freelance management consultant with focus on Supply Chain Management. Mr. Andresen served as the Chief Operating Officer of SAP India Pvt. Ltd., where he provided leadership to the market unit's multi-functional sales and operations organizations and was instrumental in making India amongst one of the fastest growing market units in SAP. His team worked closely with Sales to build a strong pipeline, solid sales execution and ignite passion for customer success. In his previous roles within SAP, he was responsible for Business Operations across SAP Asia Pacific & Japan with the charter to improve Sales and Operational Excellence. He has over a decade of experience in various global and regional senior leadership roles in SAP's Services & Support organization and his last responsibility was to manage the Consulting Practices and Innovation Adoption Centers across the APJ region. He served as guest lecture at Copenhagen Business School. He is an experienced presenter at international conferences and has published a number of articles around Service industrialization. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and has taken a number of certification programs at INSEAD and Stanford University.
