He developed Symantec's Information Security Enterprise Risk Management process, worked cross-functionally to manage critical incidents to resolution and drove implementation of controls for both a significant threat environment and regulatory needs. Mr. Somaini served as Chief Trust Officer of Box, Inc. since April 2013. Mr. Somaini has accrued more than 20 years professional experience in the IT security sector. He previously held operational positions at Yahoo!, Symantec, VeriSign, Charles Schwab and Pricewaterhouse LLP. He was an advisor to Palo Alto Networks. Mr. Somaini has been a Director of NowSecure, Inc. since March 12, 2015 and Malwarebytes Inc. since February 2016. In addition to his roles at Yahoo! and Symantec, Mr. Somaini served as a Director of Information Security at Verisign. He has joined the Board of Directors of Somaini's Cyber Security Blog. He is a one of the world's foremost cyber security minds, dedicating his 20-year career to pushing the industry forward and helping organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to startups, manage security's most challenging problems. Mr. Somaini was an Author of Somaini's Cyber Security Blog. His popular blog offers his personal views of Cyber Security landscape. He received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Drexel University.
