Patrick Bakey — President of Industry Cloud Organization at SAP

Mr. Patrick Bakey, also known as Pat, has been President of The Industry Cloud Organization at SAP SE since August 2015. Mr. Bakey is responsible for the industry cloud footprint at SAP, which covers 25 industries globally, the finance and extended supply chain lines of business and the go-to-market execution of SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA (SAP S/4HANA). Mr. Bakey leads a team dedicated to addressing today s complex and vitally important industry-specific issues. Mr. Bakey serves as Senior Vice President of SAP Public Services, Inc. and serves as General Manager of Strategic Industries- SAP North America. He served as President of SAP Public Services, Inc. and served as Head of all strategic industries in the region. He served as an Executive Vice President of Strategic Industries at SAP America, Inc. Mr. Bakey served as Senior Vice President of North American CRM Business Unit at SAP America, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry and is a 12-year SAP veteran, who held a number of strategic and industry leadership positions across the SAP field organization. He served as Global General Manager for Consumer Industries. He joined SAP in North America as the president of the Customer Relationship Management line-of-business organization in July 2004. He served as Vice President of Federal Sales for Siebel Systems, where he helped to increase Siebel's revenue from one of the lowest to the second largest within it. He served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Alliances at Content Guard. Mr. Bakey also held various roles at Xerox Corporation, where he served as Vice President of Strategic Acquisitions, Vice President and General Manager of the Illinois Operations, and served other progressively important sales related positions. Mr. Bakey holds a Degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and received his Master's of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
