Communication, strategy, aligning resources more effectively.
Rehire a professional HR department outside of the company that will hire a qualified candidate for their positions. Make the work about production more and just show up less. Less strict on attendance and more strict on managers' training and working on the floor instead of walking around
Setting a vision and goals that are attainable. Understanding the inner working of each department, the tasks at hand and the need for proper staffing. Connecting the department to work towards and combined goal.
Being normal people and not robots
Treating employees like people instead of robots. Better training. Training is too short and rushed. Better support to employees on the floor.
Basically all healthcare is out of pocket as the deductible is so high. With all of the expected overtime, I earn less than minimum wage
We are well under market compensation for our roles
This job should pay no less then 19 per hour. And make sure that any new person hired gets paid that amount with extensive training to be sure that employee does not walk
you need to pay anyone standing on their feet all day at least 18 per hour, especially with the heavy lifting
Review from Operations Dept
Employees who work there for a long time do not receive adjustments to keep up with the cost of living
Be more independent in their thinking.
Managers need to be better than the employees at labor. Not do as I sat not as I do
Managers need to be workers not just talking heads
Review from Operations Dept
Most coworkers are pleasant and helpful.
They need to support one another more.
Review from Operations Dept
Structure for promotions, recognition and reflection for work done, leadership roles having the ability to reward their staff.
Shut down / stop elevating a Miranda Priestly wannabes standard. Discipline the employees literally sleeping at their desks.
Treat your employees like you believe they can do the job you hired them for. Stop micro-managing. Provide us with the tools to do our jobs. When you ask us what customers are saying, don't say that's not true or educators don't think like that. How do you know? You're not talking to them.
Review from Sales Dept
Treat the employees with respect and not like children.
Review from Operations Dept
Spend more time on training the employee instead of the politically correct classes. We are at scholastic to send out orders of books without errors and teaching a position and retaining employees is most critical
Better questions if any all
The HR software is atrocious
It starts from the very top. When you have lazy people in control that allow managers to do nothing but sit and talk all day you send a bad message to those having to work on their feet all day
Fire all the HR department and put real Hr that will hire qualified people for DECENT pay
Review from Operations Dept
Shipping delays, lag in customer service responses and lack of a overall message for the company.
Low pay, seasonals kept under 40 hours so benefits don't have to be given, strict attendance/time off policy, expected to handle contacts in under 5 minutes with no time between contacts. Low employee retention rate could be improved by offering better pay and work/life balance.
Pay is not aligned for the job. Tyrant personalities need to go.
