Don't work in the billing department -- awful, chaotic, lack of guidance and training - one manager was caught bad mouthing the team as not having the skill set needed. Also lack of respect or cooperation from other departments due to believe billers are lazy and dumb.

Great at keeping all employees in the loop with business changes and developments. Some will stop and chat with employees with genuine interest.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Embrace change and find a mentor who will take time to show you how great you are as well as areas you can improve
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Stop stating employees don't have the "skill set" and actually take time out to train them. Normal companies do one-on-ones once a month with each employee to assist with development and growth. I can find someone to mentor me but I'll end up working for the person eventually.
