Diversity on the people that interview it, different disciplines
I was able to interview the company as much as the company interviewed me
Review from HR Dept
Short, fast, 4-5 interviews very direct and with relevant people for the role. Not difficult but clear. I interview now sometimes and preselection is usually good, and process is clearly defined and discussed
The people were super friendly, encouraging, and just people. It wasn't a scary process of sitting in front of a panel with a bright white light shining on you while shadowy figures bombard you with questions. It was just people asking if you want to join the team, what do you bring, etc!
The process is quick and efficnent
I loved that the programming test was not a stupid LEETcode or Hackerrank problem that is completely irrelevant to the work I was interviewing for. The coding test was fun, engaging, and I felt like it demonstrated my skills, not my ability to regurgitate Comp-Sci textbooks.
It was fair and direct.
Review from Engineering Dept
I got to meet the core team members and important stakeholders to establish a first level of trust and relationship before joining indefinitely. IMO this is helpful for both sides, candidate and company. Also expectations for success were set in a very clear way which helps a lot
Review from Marketing Dept
Learning about specific algorithms used on word processing, plus debating architecture strategies with part of the team
I had more than 5 interviews, each one different
The opportunity to meet a variety of people and hear about their experience at the company
I got to meet many of the people I actually work with now. The interviews were quite relaxed which helped me be less nervous as well.
It was brief, warm, and focused on what I could do (vs. what I couldn't do).
Review from Operations Dept
Meeting a variety of teammates and leaders.
I did not go through a formal interview process. I was a contractor so my interview was doing the job and showing what I could accomplish, how I lived the company values, collaborated with others, etc. I guess you could say it was a 3 month interview, with a great outcome moving to full time.
That even when I had interviews with more than 3 people I didn't feel like those were getting repetitive or unnecessary, every member was asking/looking for different things
the explanation of the project
Talking directly with the team, understanding their concerns and desires, and ultimately having a clear understanding of what my role would be in the company.
The different persons and roles that interviewed me
The speed, efficiency and throroughness
