Scripps has been a wonderful resource in more ways than just growing in my career. They provide resources, discounts, free work out classes and so much more to help you live a better life. It's a great place to work but more importantly, they make you feel like you belong.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I felt like I would be challenged to step up and do my best and I am.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It's probably obvious but the health care benefits are incredible and they have a great 401k match program.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company is always looking to ways to develop and recognize it's employees. We are encouraged to continue our education, growth and leadership skills.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is respectful and seeks expertise from the appropriate person without assuming they know better because of their rank or title. It's really refreshing to be part of a team who listen and give credit where it's due.
What makes you most happy at work?
The freedom to get my work down as I see fit, I can go to the gym during the day and take my lunch when I want and I'm encouraged and empowered to take control or my day and my work.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Scripps Health leadership is very open and transparent. You can email the CEO at any time and he will respond within 20 minutes with a straightforward, honest answer. They also have an open door policy which is very different than any other company I've ever worked for.
