Service Corporation International Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The best part of my compensation package is the added value beyond pay—benefits, development opportunities, and wellness resources that support both my professional growth and personal well-bein

They do offer a ton of benefits for purchase, ie. Legal, additional life, Aflac and more. PTO could be good if you could ever use it, there is so much work and lazy people that you come in on your day off just to catch up. They should allow rollover PTO

Time off and 401k plan

The ability to receive increases.

Excellent benefits, 401k, health vision and dental and PTO

Time off and the time we get

Medical and 401k are pretty good.

Annual bonus is great for location managers

It's fair and if i exceed expectations i may qualify for a bonus

Matching on 401k, investment done

Overall, it is all pretty good.

Review from Operations Dept

insurance, both health and life and other benefits

Review from Operations Dept

The 401k is the best thing

Review from Operations Dept

How my employer pays into my benefits along with what I pay in.

401K match and the health care

Salary plus commission as a sales professional

They don't pay well unless you're an exec.

Review from Operations Dept

The pay, my work hours, flexibility.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The pay needs to be higher. Its difficult to justify working in a high stress role and being paid so little, i think this company takes advantage of associates who are passionate about the work.

A 1 or 2% increase in todays ecconomy is a joke.

Review from Operations Dept

Little pay for lots of work, cant get help when you get hurt. They dont fix any equipment. More money and appreciation. Stop doing jobs that arent actually ours to do.

Unfortunately the The level of pay does not equate to other companies. Same situation with the level of work required by the company. They ask a lot and give you a little

Health insurance only half is paid Other corporations of this magnitude pay the employees health insurance 100%

I took a pay cut to join this company. I did the work of three people, but I was never compensated properly or valued. The position had previously been filled with a white women who had less education and experience. She was paid $35,000 more than I was as an African American woman.

Yes. Better pay and benefits and an actually reasonable (vs. the current unreasonable/ impossible one) 401k vesting process for part-timers.
