Over the years it's transformed into a formal program of hiring summer interns (some year-round interns too from local colleges) who are placed in different parts of the organization. There are scheduled activities that bring them together as a group and also with opportunities to interact with management.

Yes, Sharp is looking to add recent grads who can start out in entry-level positions, bring a fresh perspective, and over time, advance into positions of greater responsibility. It's not unusual to run across colleagues who have been here 20, 25, 30+ years.
