Great at first but not anymore.
Xerox has the worst customer service

CEO and higher management get millions in bonus while the workers get no pay increases for years, and 401K loss. "One team one boat" we're on a sinking ship and they have a luxury life boat.

Hospitalization out of pockets are too high. Not aware of any stock options or equity.
I was let go after many, many and I mean many years with the company. Apparently my loyalty counted for nothing.
I am aware that people who have less experience than I do, as well as shorter tenure, make $5K-9K more than I do. Impossible to verify?

People at Xerox work in vacuums. Not much sharing of info. Everyone wants to protect their turf. Some people are genuinely dumb.
I work with top notch coworkers. There is occasionally drama, but otherwise are great. They just need experience. Turnover is high.
More opportunity to update their skills and knowledge with new variations of the product.

Horrible, almost all admin and finance jobs have been moved to Guatemala. We are left to solve the complex issues that they dont understand or care to. Many mistakes are being made and our customers and profits will suffer.
I envision it's like the final hours of the Titanic, A small percentage has decide to be noble, and go down with the ship, but most are scrambling to get into a lifeboat and how to word it politely on their resume. But we're all equally rats here, so that's nice.
Moral is at an all time low. The board has sold out. The last 3 CEOs have destroyed any value there was in the company. Most Techs see now future in the company. Product line at the top has no future. Customers are leaving in droves.

Yes, several people work remotely, and those not in HQ or the Rochester can frequently work from home even when assigned to local offices. It depends entirely on the nature of the work.

Generous, but workload is so acute that vacations often go unused.
Was great many weeks
You make requests using a pretty buggy system and your manager approves or rejects it. Up to his discretion, for the most part. So as long as you have a good manager, you're fine. The base PTO rate isn't great, but not bad, but they have almost no holidays, so you have to spend PTO days to take days off when the company is shut down anyway, like the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas.
