What do you like best about the leadership team?My direct managers are empathetic, flexible, sharp, and hard workers. The co-CEOs and executive team are focused on funding and big issues, but sometimes lose sight of how those decisions affect people.
What are some of the best things about your team?I have a diverse team, they are capable people who work hard. They have a sense of camaraderie with one another as we work through the difficult times and work well with one another.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?People are always looking for ways to improve things, fix something, and are willing to look into solutions that might not have been thought of before or even take a second look later.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation? It's understood that in a startup, you work for low pay, shares, and have undefined roles with various mixed responsibilities. But with each funding round, and each year, compensation never went up (not even in shares). Recognition is sparse, and shows of appreciation are also equally sparse.
