Unfortunately, we have a location-based compensation policy that disproportionally impacts folks from developing countries.

I firmly believe location-based salary is an unfair policy for compensation and unfortunately, that's what we have.

It fosters a sense of care and openness that really helps you do the best work you can.

They are very open about company goals and how we're working towards them, and they're also very open to feedback.

We have a cool product that our clients love, and I get to build and improve it with smart and kind people.

I care about the product, and I feel my colleagues do too and is great to feel that we are all excited about it and aiming to create something great.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
IMO location-based salary is not aligned with the overall company values and is not a fair way to determine someone's compensation in relation to the value they bring to the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Transparency and openness are a big thing for everyone here and it shows. You feel you can speak your mind and provide feedback without worrying about negative backlash or your opinions being tossed aside.
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel everyone working here cares about the product and we're all working towards a common goal, and as stated in another question, the people working here are just awesome human beings that you're happy to collaborate with.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's an understanding the we're all people with our own lives outside of work and that we sometimes need time to take care of other things, and leadership makes sure you know to take care of your own health first and work second so you feel really safe asking for time off
