Positive, patient, affirming, and encouraging my efforts, with the support that makes me feel valued in making a difference in selling SmartCommerce!
The leaders do a great job of recognizing all contributions! We have a very includive team which feels more like a family!
They are always looking for ways to improve any issues that come up. There are no favorites or politics here. A lot of the team have worked for decades with each other.
The leadership team works hard to ensure each and everyone of us are engaged in the company's success, and our own personal growth.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop being so pompous and condescending.
They need to get better at communications.
I think they're doing a great job.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
That there is coverage for my domestic partner in my benefits, and that it is fair with room to grow for my performance and experience.
It's fair per industry and role
I believe it is the total compensation package.
I am paid fairly and recogized for my contributions that drive company growth.
Profit sharing is a great motivator as we rapidly grow. Not having to worry about where finite vacation days are used and truly being able to recharge with unlimited pto. We stay responsible and get our job done while helping others.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salaries are unfair across the board
Compensation is lower because it is a small private company
What are some of the best things about your team?
working to make a difference at the company
Though we are all remote, we are very connected and supportive of each other.
I like connecting and learning ways to be the best team member.
Respect for each other amd aleays ready to help one another. Very approachable and kind!
Any issues that come up are rapidly addressed and we seem to be effective together. I like everyone I interact with and appreciate them so much.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Stop talking just to talk in meetings.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a channel on Slack to praise people. But the same people that are friends will make contributions, while the rest arent recognized.
People understand that family comes first and that time off is time off, but also that when we are there, we are hard at work for the benefit of our clients and the company.
We are all very passionate about SmartCommerce and it is reflected daily in our interactions with one another.
Its a very warm culture where everyone is heard and recogized.
The support is solid. Everyone welcomes a question and is quick to help. We constantly give high fives in a special communication channel. Personal lives are shared and we have laughs.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

What did you like most about the interview process?
opportunity to talk to a few people
It was very transparent and clear that it was about the company as a fit for me as much as me being a fit for the role in the company.
The recruiter was very transparent and kept me informed.
I liked the 4 different stages and process of everyone's input on being the proper fit for the job.
The zoom interview went very well and smooth. Feedback was received quickly abd the process was very easy and didnt take too much tome.

What makes you most happy at work?
solving problems for clients and coworkers
That I can really dig in and lead on new projects and that I am trusted and not micromanaged.
Being part of something very exiting wvere we are bringing value to oir clients and helping them succeed from a team of highly engaged, smart and energetic people.
Being appreciated and not micromanaged. Being able to learn new processes and contribute to helping create efficient changes provides a feeling of great purpose. Interacting with my clients has been fulfilling, as well. The relationships I have formed have been gratifying internally and externally!
