Smith's Food and Drug Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Training, benefits, options to grow thru daily training.

I am not sure how to answer.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Legal and school reimbursement programs

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Being treated like a person and not just a name. I work graveyards so management is rarely there and they never answer and questions or concerns unless it's morning even in emergency situations.

I work in the starbucks dept and I get paid $6 less than if I were to work at a starbxuks not connected to kroger. Other benefits that are at normal starbucks that kroger starbucks lacks are: tips, free food/drinks, Merch, schooling, good management, promised hours

Back in the day cashiers were compensated fairly. Now you are expected to stand on your feet 8 hours a day, resulting in early back, hip and feet problems that last for the rest of your life. No way are we compensated fairly. Management cutting corners everywhere. Its ridiculous.

Better contracts, and higher wages.

Higher and more competitive wages.

Fast food chains are paying more now. An employee that has been around for 25 years and has shown loyalty is paid as much as a new associate. Stop trying to make our job something that anyone could walk in off the street could do, and start treating it as what it should be, a trade.

A .25 raise doesn't help when groceries are up, rent prices are up, and gas prices are up. I just lost money on my retirement last month. Im single, i can barely make it week to week. I make too much for food stamps. Pay people to help them want to stay and make a career at Kroger.

They haven't paid me yet

They would raise wages if you threatened to quit but would never give the hours supposed to be given

Higher pay all around, a company wide system that keep wages livable and competative.

The company expects so much more these days with less

Review from Sales Dept

Managers put pressure on you to be best of the best without reflecting it themselves. They don't praise and promote positive feedback. They only recognize and make a big deal out of negative actions. They make us feel as though they prey on our despiration, and can control us because of our fear.

Review from Sales Dept

I do not receive benefits. Was told I would work 20 - 30 hours per week. I have worked 40 hour per week since starting.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Give a new contract with a raise. They certainly don't go without their bonuses. We are expected to work ourselves to death for no raise in several years. It's all about corporate greed. I want to see them do what I do everyday, they can't. Yet they pay themselves on the back. Phooey!

Review from Customer Support Dept

If my department were considered to be the same value as other departments and were paid accordingly

Review from Sales Dept

Being apart of the union helped my pay but the $7.25 was very low compared to what I had to do.
