Being involved with the team and there when they are needed, not off wandering or sitting in the office on their phone. Not acting like it's not their job to handle an issue that comes up. Treat everyone with respect, not just those of family or those in the inner circle.

Appreciating their long term employees

scheduling promised hours, transparent about whats going on in the kiosk, HR keeping private chats private, managers doing their job correctly (paperwork especially (my manager hardly does theirs) as well as ordering product)
Change the demeanor in which they speak with people. Let people work in the department they are scheduled. Don't interpret people well they are on a break especially in the break room.
Being treated like a person and not just a name. I work graveyards so management is rarely there and they never answer and questions or concerns unless it's morning even in emergency situations.
I work in the starbucks dept and I get paid $6 less than if I were to work at a starbxuks not connected to kroger. Other benefits that are at normal starbucks that kroger starbucks lacks are: tips, free food/drinks, Merch, schooling, good management, promised hours
Back in the day cashiers were compensated fairly. Now you are expected to stand on your feet 8 hours a day, resulting in early back, hip and feet problems that last for the rest of your life. No way are we compensated fairly. Management cutting corners everywhere. Its ridiculous.
Higher and more competitive wages.
Better contracts, and higher wages.
Work ethic, respect, responsibility. This is not high school and must not be treated as a hang-out session. I don't think there is any way to work together better.

Train management to be better people
Have the upper management realize were people with lives and feeling. All they care about is money not people
Management needs to remember. We are all human, not just them.

Having an actual interview, not just hiring whoever they like or don't like. Hiring is based on what the person has experience in, and not hiring someone for a manager who has had zero experience as one or even in a retail workplace.

A process that seeks ambition and ingenuity. Merch is about creating ways to attract people to buy things. The company hires people now that behave like zombies.
Have management of BOTH genders together in interview

The store management needs to be better. The persons running the store are not qualified.
The overrall negative and demoralizing work enviroment has started to significantly impact customer service. Talking with long time coworkers they said there has been a huge shift in the way management handles employees and that has caused a huge dip in customer interaction lately.
Again. Lets have a conversation.
I would get sick to my stomach on the night of my day off knowing I had to go back to Smith's
Recognition to lower level employees. Management could be better and not so fake
