Review from Finance Dept

We've recently gone through a benefits refresh from top to bottom and the People and Leadership teams did an excellent job of expanding benefits to all business levels. Helpful in motivating all employees and giving them an option to have an ownership stake.

Company is clear on how they are constantly working to improve compensation in a growing company

Review from Operations Dept

The base. It's really high to put up with the BS.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Sonder makes it incredibly difficult to discuss pay and blame the company's wellbeing whenever you do raise the concern. They pressure you to take responsibility outside your role and try to make it seem like they're benefitting you rather than taking advantage.

We are not paid a living wage.

Whole Markets sre underpaid. Its why the company is falling apart

The hours are long and the comp is fair/ average

Actual clients to see and earn money

Sonder knew and recruited many from high paying companies. They argued that this is a start up and therefore you must take a pay cut in exchange for equities. Equities were abysmal and the company cheated by granting later stage equities as opposed to coinciding with the start date of the employees

Review from Operations Dept

If I was paid market value

Review from Operations Dept

I believe I'm paid fairly for my organization but underpaid as compared to other companies in the bay area.

Review from Operations Dept

I work as the "entry level" job for Sonder and believe I sometimes am asked to do more than my pay grade. I love my job do not get me wrong. I love the flexibility but would appreciate a little more money. Living here is expensive!

Review from Operations Dept

Many positions here are paid fairly, but my department is under the market value. Still worth working here though.

Review from Finance Dept

I feel that my compensation is inadequate for the amount & quality of work I do (and the work that any hourly employee in Sonder does). Our pay rate is barely above minimum wage and we do high level project management and administrative work.

Review from Operations Dept

Opportunity to implement performance-based bonus structures.
