How's the work life balance at Speed Commerce?
Great!
We do have busy times of the year or "Peak" times when a lot of hours are worked but there is a balance. There are slower times where employees are able to leave early.
At times it feels very much like the more you know and do, the more you will be expected to do.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Speed Commerce?
Keep improving upon what we have been doing.
Things are continuing to improve.
I would make an effort to offer raises and incentives to employees that work the hardest for the company. Morale is low much of the time due to the fact that the rate of pay is almost ridiculously low compared to other companies. It only goes to prove that if you are willing to pay a competitive wage for good employees, turn over will be low and customer service will be the best! Saying you appreciate your employees doesn’t speak nearly as loudly as compensating them for taking care of your company and clients and customers.
What are your coworkers at Speed Commerce like?
Great! We work well as a team.

Hourly employees accumulate time with each check.
Hourly - Accrued time with each pay period. Salary - Unlimited PTO with Manager's Approval.

A lot of opportunity for growth if you are willing to learn. Learn all that you can!
Lean on your leadership, the call center has some really good leaders and they're their to guide you in your path. All of the supervisors and even the director are visible and available 24/7!

There are always a few who are negative, but overall good.
Very low. A lot of work for little pay. Write ups for the littlest things. That’s why people leave to find a better job .

We are competitive for our area.
It is very low. This is a major cause of turnover and low morale. When employees know they are valued for what they do, they are happier and more willing to do more and work harder. We could make more money working in fast food which is upsetting.
