What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love selling pop culture stuff and all thr silly things we sell. its enjoyable for everyone.

The guests are the only positive part of my environment; they are always friendly, upbeat, and fun to interact with. My favorite part of the job was connecting with my guests.
They were very trusting and familiar
The company prides itself on being inclusive, non-discriminatory, and fun. That's all corporate talk with no weight to it. In such a laid- back environment, there is always room for bigotry if not outright malice to seep is way into management. I was lucky this hasn't happened with my team (much)

Most positive is relaxed dress code. The immediate culture within our office is mostly great, corporate office is what detracts from that. Wild, unrealistic demands and expectations with little support and resources.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
As long as the owner continues to allow executives with low emotional IQ to thrive and destroy what little culture there is left, nothing can be done to improve the increasingly toxic work environment.
The idea of the culture is fine, the management needs a change in order for my store to thrive
listen to the staff more and stop treating the place like a hotel
