So i jusy transfered to a new store in a new state and this staff has been the most welcoming. Ive had the pleasure of training the Sr AM in hopes for her to befome the SM very soon

They are very poor at showing people respect since the store manager YAH YAH went on medical leave the young manager that stepped in to her roll as assistant manager (kalayna) handled a situation very poorly

My store team is wonderful. As I mentioned, if I didnt like all the store managers I worked with in my first year (2 Spirit stores 1 Spencer's) I would have quit. My SM has consistently worked with my to build a simultaneously fun and respectful environment with our associates over the past 3 years

Although constantly embattled, my small team of 11 work hard and have a strong sense of comraderie. Extemely helpful and professional. Direct managers are the best I've ever had, and the main reason for my continued employment for the time being.

There is very limited professionalism. The company operates more like a high school than a professional corporation. They need to stop perpetuating and overlooking the bad behaviors of their employees if they want to prevent quality professionals from leaving.
Interdepartmental communication and collaboration is expected and frequent, while facilitating that interaction is non-existent. The presence of departmental tribalism causes unhealthy competition, animosity, and sabotage rather than the growth and teamwork necessary to prosper.
They need to pay better and give more hours.
